The Division of Graduate Studies (DoGS) is now accepting applications for the Overseas Travel Grant for the first semester of AY2025, which supports graduate students’ international academic activities.

This grant provides up to 600,000 JPY per student to support a wide range of overseas travel purposes, such as presentations at international conferences, fieldwork, joint research, and academic training abroad.

(New Improvements from This Year!)

・The maximum grant amount has been increased from 400,000 JPY to 600,000 JPY

・The minimum number of travel days has been removed, allowing even short trips of a few days to be eligible

・Applications are divided into two categories based on travel duration:

– Short-Term: less than 13 days

– Medium- to Long-Term: 14 days or more
