The event aims to enhance the researchers’ skills of the DoGS Fellows who are supported by Kyoto University Division of Graduate Studies, by providing them opportunities to present their own research outcomes and have discussions with other students beyond existing frameworks such as graduate schools and research laboratories.

On both days of October, following the greetings from Prof. Takao Hirajima, Director of Division of Graduate Studies, 62 students on October 30th and 39 students on October 31st, in various fields including Humanities and Social Sciences/ Informatics and AI/ Quantum Science and Technology / Materials Sciences/ Health, Medical Sciences and Biostudies/ Environment, Energy and Interdisciplinary Studies, made their presentation with their own posters.

Besides, Incorporated Association C-ENGINE (Collaborative Education for Next-Generation Innovators & Exploration of knowledge intersections) and Acaric who are organizations to support research internships for doctoral students, had consulting booths. 10 of the participating companies of C-ENGINE on October 30 and 7 on October 31st gave presentations as well as interacted with students on their research and career opportunities.

During the 2 days, almost 100 people such as students, faculty members, staff, and companies participated to listen to the presentations and deepened exchanges with others across fields and statuses between students, faculty, staff and companies.
