“Poster Presentations and Research Exchanges by DoGS Fellows” took place in November again.

DoGS Fellows Kyoto University Poster Presentations

The Division of Graduate Studies held the event, “Poster Presentations and Research Exchanges by DoGS Fellows” on November 29th in Shiran Kaikan at Faculty of Medicine Campus.

The event aims to enhance the researchers’ skills of the DoGS Fellows who are supported by Kyoto University Division of Graduate Studies, by providing them opportunities to present their own research outcomes and have discussions with other students beyond existing frameworks such as graduate schools and research laboratories.
It was held three times this year, which was on October 30th and 31st as well as November 29th.

In the same way as October, following the greetings from Prof. Takao Hirajima, Director of Division of Graduate Studies, 57 students in various fields including Humanities and Social Sciences/ Informatics and AI/ Quantum Science and Technology / Materials Sciences/ Health, Medical Sciences and Biostudies/ Environment, Energy and Interdisciplinary Studies, made their presentation with their own posters.

Besides, Incorporated Association C-ENGINE (Collaborative Education for Next-Generation Innovators & Exploration of knowledge intersections) and Acaric who are organizations to support research internships for doctoral students, had consulting booths. 7 of the participating companies of C-ENGINE gave presentations as well as interacted with students on their research and career opportunities.
Except for presenters, audiences such as students, faculty members, staff, and companies participated to listen to the presentations and deepened exchanges with others across fields and statuses between students, faculty, staff and companies.
