[Event Announcement] (2/17) Nature Workshop: “Communicating Your Research to Non-specialists”

The Kyoto University "Medical Science and Business Liaison Organization" has announced the following event. All Kyoto University students and staff are welcome to participate. Please register in advance and join us!

Kyoto University Medical Science and Business Liaison Organization,
Kyoto University School of Public Health, and Kyoto University
Graduate Program for Medical Innovation, are pleased to announce the
"Communicating Your Research to Non-specialists" workshop, a service
provided by Nature Japan.

Last year and the year before, we held two types of workshops,"Getting
Published" and "Impressive Academic Presentations" which were very well
received by the large number of participants.
We expect a large number of applicants again this year. Please apply as
soon as possible.

【Workshop Features】
It is becoming increasingly important for researchers to be able to
clearly communicate their research to a broader audience,
such as the public, the press, and even funding organizations.
However, communicating complex specialized findings in an
understandable and general manner is challenging for many researchers.
This 1-day workshop will provide strategies for researchers to overcome
these issues and broaden the impact of their research for society.

If you are interested in attending the workshop, please register using
the Google form below.
