Graduate School Entrance Exams Eligible
for the Taiwan Kyoto University Scholarship
For persons seeking to enroll in a doctoral program at Kyoto University in October 2025, the scholarship is available for the relevant entrance examinations in the nine graduate schools listed in the table below. Applicants must be Taiwanese nationals.
In addition to applying for the scholarship to the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, please check the application period and application procedures at the URLs in the table below and complete the entrance examination procedures within the specified period.
If you pass the entrance examination by March 28, 2025, please inform the Kyoto University Division of Graduate Studies of your examination results by email. If the results of the entrance examination have not been announced by March 28, 2025, please inform the Division of Graduate Studies of your contact status with your supervisor (your supervisor’s name and whether or not you have been accepted) by the same date.
Please note that even if you pass the scholarship screening, you will lose your scholarship eligibility if you fail the entrance examination.

The eligibility of students who are already enrolled in a master’s program at Kyoto University and wish to advance to a doctoral program at Kyoto University in October 2025 may not depend on the above exams.
